<p>PURPOSE:To exactly position the tip of a hand-put original independently of paper quality of the original to send the manuscript onto the upper surface of a platen by providing the end of a hand-putting tray near a resilient roller. CONSTITUTION:A hand-putting tray 20 is arranged opposite to a resilient roller 10 on an original carrying passage 5 to make the hand-inserting of the original possible, and the end of the tray 20 is positioned near the resilient roller 10. The tip of the original inserted from the tray 20 knocks against the resilient roller 10 to stop for its positioning. In this state, the resilient roller 10 rotates to transfer the hand-put original to a carrying belt device 16 arranged correspondingly to the platen 15.</p> |
