A tree-reprocessing unit suspended from a crane arm of a crane, comprising a stand, at least one delimbing unit and at least two feed rollers which can be pivoted towards and away from each other and comprise a feed unit for feeding tree trunks through the unit. In order to enable this without the use of special gripping arms, the delimbing unit and the feed unit are supported by two axles 7 mounted in the stand and in relation to which the feed rollers 12 of the feed unit can be pivoted, and the delimbing unit comprises longitudinal-delimbing members and a rear and a front pair of delimbing members 51,52 which are pivotable about the said axles 7 and which, in the front and the rear pair, can be pivoted about their respective said stand axles 7 by means of a piston- cylinder device 56, a torsion spring 60 being disposed in the respective stand axle for the transmission of this movement to the delimbing member 52 of the front pair, which torsion spring is secured in the biased state between the stand axle 7 and the associated delimbing member 52, which is movable to a limited extent relative to the stand axle 7 against the action of the spring bias. <IMAGE> |
