(1) heating rubber latex 55-75 wt.% at 40-90 deg.C; (2) adding a soln. (prepd. by mixing asphalt 90-110 wt.% i.e. straight asphalt, heavily oil 10-16 wt.% i.e. mineral oil and nonionic surfactant 10-30 wt.% at 110-150 deg.C) and emulsifying- dispersing it at 40-60 deg. C and cooling below 30 deg. C; (3) adding emulsion-stabilizer and hardening accelerator 5-15 wt.% i.e. CaCl2, protein to prepare rubber-asphalt emulsion; and (4) mixing with hardener (obtd. from cement 45-60 wt.%, powd. aggregate 20-50 wt.%, CaCO3 5-15 wt.% and ion quencher i.e. EDTA 3-7 wt.%) by 1:1.35 ratio.
