PURPOSE:To carry out inner lining repair for a pipeline with gas kept flowing and with only a single excavation for construction by bending part of a cylindrical repair material of contracted diameter provided with pin joining, inserting the same into a pipeline, expanding outwardly at a given position and fixing by pressure to the inside of the pipeline. CONSTITUTION:A bending section 2 formed on part of the periphery of a repair material 1 constituted of an elastic material is jointed with a pin 3, mounted on a pressure fixing unit 4 in the state that the outer diameter dimension bent inwardly at the position of said pin 3 lower than the inner diameter dimension of a pipeline (a) and inserted to a given target position in the pipeline (a). Then, the bending section 2 is pushed outside by the pressure fixing unit 4 to expand the diameter of the repair material 1 and fixed by pressure to the inner surface of the pipeline (a). The pressure fixing unit 4 is constituted of, for instance, a cylinder 5 to expand the bending section 2, a guide roller 8 to insert the pressure fixing unit 4 into the pipe and an inserting rod 9, and the pin 3 of the bending section 2 of the repair material 1 is so mounted as to be held in a channel 6' of a pin holding section 6 at a piston head section of the cylinder 5. |
