PURPOSE:To prevent the life of a motor from becoming short and to suppress unnecessary power consumption by comparing time set by a time setting means with current time counted by a timer means by a control means and controlling the motor to slow rotation or a stop state when the both coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:The timer means 5 updates information on the current time including the contents of days of the week, i.e., Mon.-Sun. at any time. When a time setting means sets the time and when the motor 2 is controlled to the slow rotation or stop state, the control means 4 starts comparing the set time with the current time. Then the motor is controlled to the stop state at the time of the motor stop state. Consequently, the time is so set that the motor 2 is stopped in midnight or an a holiday, etc., thereby suppressing unnecessary power consumption and the shortening of the life of the motor when there is no possibility of printing. |
