PURPOSE:To attain accurate changeover processing in a base station even when many number of transmission/reception operations exist by allowing a mobile equipment to discriminate an area identification signal sent for each area so as to switch the channel via a base station at the movement toother area. CONSTITUTION:An automobile 5 mounted with a mobile equipment in an area A communicates a radio base station 2 in a communication channel fa. In this case, a minute radio wave is received from a service area identification signal transmitter (a) to recognize the presence in the area A. When the automobile comes to a duplicated zone as an area B, the radio wave is received from equipments a, b similarly to recognize the existing position and a request signal to be switched to a base station 3 is sent to the station 2 via the channel fa. The station 2 sends the request signal to an exchange 1, which commands the channel fb used next via the channel fa to the automobile 5 via the station 2 thereby commanding the communication in the channel fb to the base station 3. Thus, when the radio from the equipment (b) is received, the automobile 5 cotinues the communication with the base station 3 of the area b through the channel fb. |
