<p>PURPOSE: To reproduce front teeth individually even when the front teeth of an upper jaw are lost by a method wherein the curvature of the contour of the protrusion of a tooth is obtained by the scanning of the tooth and is transferred onto a front tooth by a copying tool on a plane in the direction of the arrow starting from a point where a front tooth of a lower jaw contacts the tooth of the upper jaw to form a concave curved surface of a palate. CONSTITUTION: A scanner 25 is provided in a box of a lower jaw head of an articulator and a filler 29 is made freely replaceable in the longitudinal direction thereof. Action of the surface of the filler is determined according to the size and the structure of a ball 31 positioned in the box of the lower jaw head, based firstly on a hinge shaft 15 of the first articulator and secondly on a bending point (w) of the curvature 6 of the contour of the protrusion of a front tooth. The curvature is individually determined by a prepared system. A sensor element 32 has a rim part 32a having a shape matched with the contour curvature 6 and is fixed on a holder 33 having a point 37 which is replaceable and shifts in front of a scale 38. When an electron 2 is selected, for example, a specified contour curvature 6 is transferred onto a front tooth of the upper jaw on the surface of a palate and the front tooth is subjected to a modeling in a normal jaw model.</p> |
