A gaming machine of the slot machine type has an operating lever (4) coupled to the main unit (2) that has rotary drums with games symbols printed on the surfaces. Built into the machine is a facility for collecting metal drinks cans to be recycled. The collection unit has an entry point (5) to a tube (6) that leads to a press stage (7). The press allows the metal cans to be compressed into a minimum volume for deposition in a collection trolley (12). The force required for operation of the press is provided by a mechanism (9) coupled to the lever. An alternative version used an electromagnetic actuator. |
