Novel 3-benzhydryl-3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane compounds of the general formula I <IMAGE> are described in which R<1> denotes alkyl, cycloalkylalkyl or benzyl, R<2> denotes hydrogen or lower alkyl, R<3> denotes hydrogen or lower alkyl or R<2> and R<3> together form an alkylene chain, and R<4> stands for a diphenylmethyl group which is optionally substituted by halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, hydroxyl, nitro or trifluoromethyl. The compounds have pharmacologically useful properties, in particular cardioactive properties. |
