PURPOSE:To decrease the transfer time, by performing an optimizing process to decide whether a collective updating process is possible and then calculating the updated value when it is decided that the collective updating process is possible, storing the calculated updating value temporarily in a storage part and transferring collectively the updating values to another site. CONSTITUTION:An optimizing process deciding whether a collective updating process is possible with a decentralized data base system of the own site is carried out based on an application program and the data distribution information. If it is decided that a collective updating process is possible, the updated value is calculated and stored temporarily in the own storage part. Then these updated values are read and transferred collectively to another site, and therefore the updating requests are collectively transmitted to another site. |
