PURPOSE:To fix a movable guide on an arbitrary position by forming the guiding apparatus for rolled stock with a guide rod engaged with the upper end of the movable guide to travel, a guide rail on which the lower end of the movable guide is slid and a clumping means to fix the guide rod and the lower end of the movable guide. CONSTITUTION:In the direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the rolled stock, the guide rods 31, 32 transversely held movably engaged with the upper ends of the movable guides 12, 23, at least one guide rail transversely held parallel to the guide rods 31, 32 holding the lower ends of the movable guides 12, 13 freely capable of sliding, hydraulic cylinders 50, 51 to travel the guide rods, 1st clumping means 52, 53, 54, 55 engaging with the guide rods 31, 32 to fix the guide rods unmovably, 2nd clamping means 60, 61, 62, 63 to engage the lower ends of the movable guides 12, 13 with the guide rail to fix the lower ends of the movable guides unmovably are provided. |
