The compounds of the formula I in which R<1> is hydrogen; (C1-C8)-alkyl; R<2> is hydrogen; (C1-C8)-alkyl; or R<1> and R<2> together are a -(CH2)4-bridge which is optionally up to disubstituted by (C<1>-C<4>)-alkyl; R<3> and R<4> independently of one another are hydrogen; or (C1-C4)-alkyl; or one of the radicals R<3> or R<4> is hydrogen and the other is a phenyl radical which is optionally up to trisubstituted by identical or different substituents from the series comprising halogen, (C1-C4)-alkyl or (C1-C4)-alkoxy; or R<3> and R<4> together are a -(CH2)n-bridge where n = 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 and which can optionally be up to trisubstituted by (C1-C4)-alkyl; R<5> is hydrogen; or fluorine; R<6> is halogen; R<7> is hydrogen; (C1-C8)-alkyl; (C3-C8)-alkenyl; (C3-C8)-alkynyl; (C3-C7)-cycloalkyl; (C1-C4)-alkyl, monosubstituted by: (C1-C4)-alkoxy, (C1-C4)-alkylthio, mono-(C1-C4)-alkylamino, di-(C1-C4)-alkylamino, cyano, (C3-C7)-cycloalkyl, phenyl, halophenyl, (C1-C4)-alkylphenyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxyphenyl, (C1-C4)-haloalkyl phenyl, (C1-C4)-haloalkoxyphenyl, nitrophenyl, cyanophenyl, hydroxy, 1,3-dioxolan-2-yl, 1,3-dioxan-2-yl or CO-R<8>; (C1-C8)-alkyl, (C3-C8)-alkenyl or (C3-C7)-cycloalkyl, which are monosubstituted or polysubstituted by halogen; or CO-R<8>. R<8> is (C1-C8)-alkyl; (C3-C8)-alkenyl; benzyl, optionally monosubstituted on the phenyl ring by halogen, (C1-C4)-alkyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxy, (C1-C4)-haloalkyl, nitro or cyano; (C3-C7)-cycloalkyl; phenyl, optionally up to trisubstituted by halogen, (C1-C8)-alkyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxy, (C1-C4)-haloalkyl or monosubstituted by cyano or nitro; furan; thiophene; (C1-C8)-alkoxy; (C1-C4)-alkoxy-(C1-C4)-alkoxy; (C3-C8)-alkenyloxy; (C3-C8)-alkynyloxy; (C1-C8)-alkylthio; (C3-C8)-alkenylthio; (C3-C8)-alkynylthio; amino; mono(C1-C4)-alkylamino; di-(C1-C4)-alkylamino; phenylamino, optionally up to trisubstituted by halogen, (C1-C4)-alkyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxy or (C1-C4)-haloalkyl or monosubstituted by cyano or nitro; are herbicidal active substances. The invention relates to compounds of the formula I, their preparation, novel intermediates and novel herbicides and growth regulators, and their use for controlling undesirable plant growth or for influencing the growth of crop plants.
