PURPOSE:To manufacture a molded product of high density by molding in a filter press, making the volume of the liquid in slurry to be four times as much as the true volume of ceramic powder or less and mixing the slurry with a dispersant of which volume is 0.5-2.5wt.% of said ceramic powder. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic material and pure water are put into a pot mill in equal amounts, mixed together for 20 hours, dried calcinated, and sufficiently pulverised into submicron particles. This ceramic powder of submicron-sized particles is added with pure water 1-8 times as much as the true volume of said powder and also a dispersant of polycarboxylic acid type, and polyvinyl alcohol is added according to demand, and they are all mixed in the pot mill into a uniform slurry. This slurry is poured into a mold for pressing to manufacture a molded product of high density. |
