PURPOSE:To upgrade a total working ratio of a composite plant greatly, by utilizing a region in the vicinity of a center of a magnetic field generated by a solenoid type superconducting coil to a system of a magnetic field utilizing type electromagnetic device. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic device 2 using a magnetic field as an exciting field and operable by power input from a power system is provided at a position in a central region of a magnetic field generated by a solenoid type superconduction energy storing apparatus 1. Use of the device 2 is stopped for a period when power is supplied from the apparatus 1 to a power system and other loads. The device 2 is operated for a waiting period when supplying the power from the apparatus 1 to the loads is unnecessary, or for a part of the waiting period. Therefore, either the apparatus 1 or the device 2 is always made to work. This means the upgrading of a device operation rate in comparison with a conventional technique. Hence, a total operation rate of the composite plant is upgraded greatly. |
