PURPOSE:To obtain the above cooked rice outstanding in flavor and eating feel, suitable for production on an industrial scale, by providing grains of rice subjected to boiling water-immersion treatment with a flavoring liquid having specific viscosity, applying steaming treatment followed by admixing a flavoring oil. CONSTITUTION:First, grains of rice is washed and immersed in water Followed by preliminary steaming treatment and immersion in boiling water. Thence, the resulting grains is provided with a flavoring liquid comprising soy sauce or sauce and table salt having a viscosity of 10-2,000cps followed by steaming treatment. Next, the resultant grains is admixed with a flavoring oil, thus obtaining the objective cooked rice. |
