PURPOSE:To prevent a generation of fungi through a fungistatic effect of copper ions produced from copper wires by a method wherein the copper wires are knitted into a net of synthetic resin in an air filter of an air conditioner or a circulation fan for circulating interior air. CONSTITUTION:An air filter 8 is made such that a frame 12 and a net 13 are integrally formed by synthetic resin such as polypropylene resin or polystyrene resin or the like. Six copper wires 15 with a wire diameter of less than 80mum are simultaneously knitted with the net 13 in respect to forty resin threads 14 per inch, for example, when the resin threads 14 are to be knitted. In this way, since the copper wires 15 are knitted into the net 13 of the air filter 12 made of synthetic resin, no fungi is generated under an effect of distillation of copper ions produced from the copper wires 15 even if the dusts are absorbed to the resin threads 14 of the net 13 due to their electric charging characteristics. |
