The water skis can float when supporting a person's weight and are moved forwards by articulated blades (9), fixed under each ski. When the skier takes a step forward the blades pivot backwards, propelling the ski forward. The blades are prevented from pivoting forwards beyond a perpendicular position by stops (11). The blades are held under the ski by plates (8) with nails on their upper surface. The plates are held in hollows (10) in the top of the blade. The skis can be held together by magnets along the side of each ski.
|
