PURPOSE:To increase welding work efficiency and to improve the smoothness and Gap resistance of bead at various welding positions by specifying the compsn. of a steel wire for arc welding with small electric current. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of a steel wire for arc welding with small electric current is composed of, by weight, 0.01-0.08% C, 0.10-0.70% Si, 1.60-2.60% Mn, 0.010-0.060%, in total, of one of more among 0.01-0.050% S, 0.002-0.030% O and 0.002-0.030% Se, <=0.05% Ti, <=0.01% Al, <=0.015% N and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. When the steel wire is rued, welding work efficiency is increased and the smoothness and Gap resistance of bead can be improved. |
