发明名称 THIN FILM MAGNETIC HEAD
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable balanced winding to reduce the noise without reducing the head output by arranging the front end of a groove part, which is provided on the side face of the outside peripheral part of a first core, behind the rear end of a hole part provided in a second core. CONSTITUTION:A front end part 17a of a winding groove 17 is arranged behind a rear end part 16a of a winding window 16. Consequently, a width W of an I core adjacent to the winding window 16 is not reduced by the winding groove 17. In a combinational head using two thin film magnetic heads constituted in this manner, two thin film magnetic heads are adhered onto a base 18 so that respective I cores 13 face each other. In a rotary head system constituted in this manner, the width W of the I core 13 adjacent to the winding window 16 is not made shorter than that of the winding groove 17 even at the time of balanced winding of a winding 19 around two magnetic heads. Thus, balanced winding of the winding is possible without reduction of the head output due to the increase of the magnetic resistance, and the noise or the like is reduced.
