发明名称 AUTOMATIC ADJUSTING MECHANISM FOR PAPER THICKNESS
摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate correction of dispersions of printing positions and obtain a high printing quality, by holding driving quantities of a positioning motor as a plurality of constants, and selecting one of the constants through setting switches to thereby set a retraction quantity for a printing head. CONSTITUTION:When a paper detecting member 5 makes contact with a printing paper 7, a driving motor 6 is caused to step out, the position at that time is secured, and the motor 6 is reversely rotated for returning to a printing position. A plurality of types of the returning quantity are prepared, and the quantity can be set by the operator by using switches on a console panel. Since a stepping motor is used as the driving motor 6, the returning quantity is controlled in terms of the number of steps, whereby respective printing positions can be set. Therefore, dispersions of the printing position of a printing head 1 due to chattering or deflection of a mechanism or dispersion of accuracy of component parts can be easily corrected, high printing quality can be maintained, and a highly reliable printer can be obtained.
