<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the difference in temperature by providing a hollow tube having, in its side wall, small openings for air blowing with small structures of synthetic filaments. CONSTITUTION:A contact-type air exposure tank is provided with a plurality of contact means 5 each comprising a hollow tube 1 having, in its side wall, small openings for air blowing. One end of each hollow tube 1 is connected to a compressor 6 by a pipe, and air is fed from the compressor 6. As a result, air is introduced in the form of fine bubbles through the openings 4 in the contact means 5. Original water which has flowed in from a water inlet 7 comes into contact with the contact means 5, when air is blown in the form of fine bubbles through small openings 4 in the hollow tubes 1. Aerobic bacteria adhere to rings of filaments, and the original water which has flowed in is purified and then discharged from an outlet 8. Thus, the efficiency of the reaction of the substrate can be heightened.</p> |
