The present invention relates to a rotary lawn mower with a grass collector 6. For fixing the collector 6, the skirt 1 of the lawn mower is provided with curved superstructure. The leading edge 13 of the grass collector and the superstructure 7 have the same curvature as the outer radius of rotation of the blade 5. In motion, the mown grass is sucked against the skirt 1 and back through a passage 11 directly into the collector 6. Owing to the curvature of the superstructure 7 and the collector 6 it is possible to connect the grass collector 6 directly to the blade system, which eliminates the conveying distance for the mown grass, which is often both wet and adhesive. <IMAGE> |
