<p>PURPOSE: To effectively utilize a sound generated downward from a sound board and to sufficiently amplify the sound of a ground piano by arranging the sound increment face of a sound increment member obliquely from the sound board. CONSTITUTION: One end edge of a sound increment board 6 is attached pivotally on the rear side side-plate 5b of the ground piano 1 by a hinge 7, the other end edge is locked on the front side side-plate 5a of the piano 1 through strings 8, 8 and the sounding increment face 6a is arranged under the sound board 4 at a suitable inclination angle. Thereby a sound generated from the sound board 4 of the piano 1 downward is reflected to a proper direction by the face 6a of the board 6 and the sound of the piano 1 is sufficiently amplified. Even in the case of performing a piano concerto in a state arranging a large organized orchestra on the back, the sound of the ground piano 1 is sufficiently obtained and acoustic balance with the orchestra is extremely improved, and even in the case of executing performance in a hall of short reverberation and a small echo, a sufficient echo is obtained.</p> |
