<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a drain pan, capable of being bonded simultaneously with the molding of the same, prevented from leakage of water, light in the weight thereof and excellent in heat insulation, by a method wherein a composite sheet, consisting of a polystyrene resin sheet at the rear surface thereof and an oil resistant thermoplastic resin sheet at the front surface thereof, is employed as the skin film of expandable polystyrene resin to manufacture the drain pan. CONSTITUTION:A composite sheet 6, bonded with each other by a method wherein an adhesive agent sheet 3 is pinched between a polypropylene resin sheet 1 and a polystyrene resin sheet 2, which are extruded from an extruding and processing machine 4, and bonded by a heating roller 5 in the condition of sandwich, is formed while the composite sheet 6 is processed by vacuum molding in a next process so as to have a predetermined configuration. The composite sheet 6 is fitted into one jig 7 to set it into a fitting 8, thereafter, beads 11 are poured through the pouring port 10 of the other jig 9 and expansion molding is effected by steam, then, the expandable polystyrene resin 12 and the polystyrene resin sheet 2 are bonded by fusion with each other, since both of them are made of the same material and are provided with the same melting temperature, whereby a drain pan 13 may be finished.</p> |
