PURPOSE:To improve color contamination more effectively without deteriorating photographic sensitivity by incorporating a specified (co)polymer into a silver halide color photographic sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The title silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains a recurrent unit expressed by the formula I and a group connected to a binder or a (co)polymer having a group forming a micelle in the binder. In the formula, R1 is H atom., alkyl group, or halogen atom.; each R2, R3, and R4 may be a same or a different atom. or group, i.e., H, halogen, or CN group; L1 is a divalent joint group; L2 is -COO-, -OCO-, etc.; Y is alkylene or arylene, etc., or -SO2-, -S-, etc.; each G1 and G2 is OH or a group which generates OH by hydrolysis; G3 is sulfonamide or carbonamide group; each (m), (n), (p), (q), and (r) is zero or 1, but q=1 when p=0. By this constitution, a novel color contamination preventing agent contributing also to the improvement of light fastness of a dye picture image is provided. |
