PURPOSE: To enable a conical joint to be fixed readily without needing to fasten a nut completely by employing a handle as a clamp device which is supported by a nut diagonally about an axis and at a distance from a central axis. CONSTITUTION: In order to fix a conical casing 2 to a conical plug 1, a handle 6 is rotate to move an open nut 3 behind an annular plane 5 in the direction shown by an arrow D. The eccentric hinging and the diagonal engaging position of the handle 6 ensure that the handle cannot flip over the annular plane 5 during tightening. The conical casing 2 is therefore pressed against the conical plug 1 and held fast. In order to release the joint, the nut 3 is rotated to extended in the direction of the arrow C, in which case a half-turn is usually completely sufficient. The handle 6 is then pivoted upwards to remove the open conical casing 2 from the conical plug 1, and a piston plunger 19 can be removed.
