PURPOSE:To improve the color density of an image, and the color reproducibility and the preservability of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material by imagewisely exposing said material contg. at least one of a pyrazoloazole type cyan coupler, and then developing the exposed photographic sensitive material with a color developer at a prescribed temp. and time. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one of the pyrazoloazole type cyan coupler having a group capable of forming at least one of hydrogen bond at a position capable of substitution except the active point of a pyrazoloazole ring in a red photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and said photographic sensitive material is imagewisely exposed. And then, the exposed material is developed with a color developer which does not substantially contain a benzyl alcohol, at >=30 deg.C for <=90sec. When the color development is processed at >=30 deg.C for >90sec, the image with inferior fogging density and processing stability will result. The higher processing temp. permits the sure rapid processing. Thus, the high color density of a cyan color image is obtd., even in the rapid processing of said material, and the excellent preservability of said image is obtd. |
