PURPOSE:To realize a cantilever housing supporting mechanism by providing a servo valve to a phase regulation mechanism for varying the phases of a pulley and a cam interlocked with a crankshaft and arranging the phase regulation mechanism closely to the pulley. CONSTITUTION:In a dynamic valve device which can perform continuously variable control of open/close timing of valve, cam shaft 1 and a pulley 4 entrained with a timing pulley 3 interlocked with a crankshaft are coupled through a timing modifying means 5. The means 5 is provided with a phase regulation mechanism 10 for varying the phases of a rotary shaft 6 and a housing 7 by rolling roller pins 21, 22 in a guide groove 19 and a guide hole 20 corresponding to sliding motion of a piston 8. A servo valve 9 having a spool 30 for limiting movement of the piston 8 is arranged between a hydraulic chamber 18 at one side of the piston 8 and an oil pressure supply path 40 and an oil pressure release path 49, while the phase regulation mechanism 10 is arranged closely to the pulley 4 in the housing 7. |
