The display panel is formed from U-shaped side sections 40 into which horizontal sections 10 and 30 can be inserted alternately or in a grille-type layout. The upper and lower sections 30 can be screwed into screw holes in holes which open out, formed in the sections, so as to form a rigid assembly. Application to the display of items hanging on hooks interacting with the said sections. <IMAGE>
