A particulate detergent composition comprising an organic surfactant system, a detergency builder system and optionally other detergent ingredients, characterized in that (a) the organic surfactant system comprises mobile ethoxylated nonionic surfactant in an amount of at least 10 wt.% based on the whole composition, and (b) the composition also comprises a graft copolymer of (i) polyethylene, polypropylene or polybutylene oxide with (ii) vinyl acetat e (optionally partially saponified), in a weight ratio of (i) to (ii) of from 1 : 0.2 to 1 : 10.
