PURPOSE:To prevent pressure drop and hunting of the system by quickly starting another backup boilers for the failing unit when failure occurs or is predicted. CONSTITUTION:Between boilers 1A-1D and load L0, a steam header 2 is disposed to adjust the pressure differential among the boilers, and its pressure is detected by a pressure regulator 4. A unit number controller 5 is inputted with the pressure signal e2 from the pressure regulator 4 and outputs the burning control signal e1 to the respective boilers. Alert signal generating means 8A-8D comprising a pressure switch mechanism detect the abnormal condition of the boilers and outputs the alert signal e3. In response to the alert signal e3, an abnormal boiler identifying section 10 identifiers which boiler is failing, and the unit number controller 5 quickly starts another boiler for the failing unit. |
