The invention relates to sport and leisure articles: a novel ball permitting playing out of doors and indoors and participation in a novel sport which is peculiar to it, DEXTRY. The ball has a convex shape surrounded by a beading which forms an integral part thereof; its diameter does not exceed the central thickness of the ball. Its shape enhances its aerodynamics and converts the position of the ball after throwing from the horizontal to the vertical and vise versa. Among the applications in leisure pursuits and the novel sport corresponding to it: DEXTRY (name of the ball and of the game), it has a use in teaching dexterity to children and adults. <IMAGE>
