PURPOSE:To rationalize electric power supply by a processor which performs automatic control over the electric power supply by a timer function by resetting an off mode and setting an on mode if abnormality is generated in the off mode, it a door for protection is opened, if a document is set, or if a paper feed cassette is replaced. CONSTITUTION:Respective constituent parts of the processors are controlled by a CPU 1. A RAM for data storage, a ROM for storing a control program, etc., a decoder for serial communication, an IC 3 which outputs current time data, an interface 4 to which various analog sensors are connected, an interface 5 to which a cassette mounting sensor, a misfeed sensor, etc., are connected, interfaces 6 and 7 to which various DC and AC loads are connected, an interface 8 for optical communication, etc., are connected to the CPU 1. Here, a backup power source 9 is connected the RAM and timer IC 3 for cases wherein the commercial power source is turned off to surely detect abnormality which is generated in the off mode. |
