<p>PURPOSE:To simplify manufacture of a photomask by forming a toner image by the electrophotographic method on a transparent sheet. CONSTITUTION:The fair copy of the characters and the like to be engraved is made on a sheet of paper and is copied on a transparent sheet of polyester or the like by the electrophotographic method to form its toner image. When needed, fine pinholes or gaps on the toner image are filled with a powder not transmitting ultraviolet rays, such as carbon black, and a photomask is formed by using this toner image. The obtained photomask is used at the time of forming a cutting dye with a film of a photohardenable resin, and this dye is used for engraving characters and the like by the sandblasting method on the surface of stone and the like.</p> |
