PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent hair cosmetic, containing a lowviscosity dimethylpolysiloxane and silicone derivative and capable of preventing thermal damage of the hair by a hair dryer, etc., and imparting readiness for combing, smoothness and light finish feeling. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic, containing a low-viscosity dimethylpolysiloxane (3-10 cSt viscosity) expressed by the formula (n is 4-25) and a silicone derivative selected from methylphenylsiloxane, fatty acid-modified polysiloxanes, aliphatic alcohol-modified polysiloxanes, polyoxyalkylenemodified polysiloxanes, amino-modified polysiloxanes and cationmodifies polysiloxanes at 100:1-1:100 blending ratio. The total amount of both is 0.01-10.0wt.%. If a polyethylene glycol ester of a fatty acid in an amount of 0.1-3.0wt.% based on the total amount is blended in the above-mentioned cosmetic, readiness for combing and smoothness are further improved. |
