PURPOSE:To contrive higher resistance to friction and to solvents, by sequentially providing a layer comprising a wax component and melted when being heated, a layer comprising a fatty acid ester of cellulose, a vinyl chloride resin and a vinylidene chloride resin, and an overcoat layer on a base. CONSTITUTION:A first layer is a release layer 2 comprising a wax having a low melting point and a low melt viscosity, which layer enhances transferability of the layers as a whole, and enable printing with less energy. A second layer is an intermediate layer 3 for protection of images, and is formed from a solvent coating material obtained by dissolving or dispersing at least one of a fatty acid ester of cellulose, a vinyl chloride resin and a vinylidene chloride resin in an appropriate solvent in an amount of at least 50% based on the dry weight of the second layer, the thickness of the second layer being 0.1-2mum. An ink 4 comprising a coloring material added to a heat-fusible vehicle is provided on the second layer, and an overcoat layer 5 comprising a wax and a tackifier resin is provided thereon. |
