PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of a buffing compd. sticking to machine parts polished with a buffing compd. by washing without causing adverse effect on the polished parts by using a detergent consisting of dichloro-trifluoroethane as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:Machine parts comprising a metal, plastic, elastomer, etc., polished using a buffing compd. are washed with a detergent consisting primarily of dichloro-difluoroethane such as 1,2-dichloro-1,2-difluoroethane, 1,1-dichloro-2,2- difluroethane, 1,2-dichloro-1,1-difluoroethane, 1,1-dichloro-1,2-difluoroethane, etc., and contg. 20-30wt.% at least one kind of org. solvent among hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, etc., with a purpose for removing the buffing compd. sticking to the polished parts. A detergent for removing the buffing compd. is provided without any fear for causing contamination of underground water, etc. |
