PURPOSE:To enhance characteristics, especially, electrostatic chargeability of a photosensitive body obtained by forming a photoconductive layer on a conductive substrate by subjecting the conductive substrate to a bombard treatment. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by forming the photoconductive layer on the conductive substrate subjected to the bombard treatment, that is, treatment of injecting gaseous ions at the surface of the substrate in reduced pressure, thus permitting the photosensitive body obtained by forming the photoconductive layer on the conductive substrate subjected to the bombard treatment to be improved in characteristics, especially, electrostatic chargeability of said body to be improved, compared with the conventional method in which the substrate is formed by adopting a washing method. |
