PURPOSE:To assure sufficient rigidity as an optical memory element and to prevent generation of a chamber thereof by forming a transparent substrate which constitutes a recording medium of a glass substrate and a substrate which protects the recording medium of a resin substrate and adhering and fixing the resin substrate to the recording medium side. CONSTITUTION:The memory element 10 consists of the glass substrate 11 which allows passage of a light beam. The recording medium 12 formed on this substrate 11 is constituted of a single layer or multi-layer type and the protective substrate which protects the medium 12 consists of the resin substrate 14. The substrate 14 is stuck to the medium 12 sides via an adhesive agent layer 13. The adhesive agent layer 13 consists of a UV curing resin, etc. The resin 14 consists of resins such as polycarbonate and acryl. The sufficient rigidity of the element 10 is assured as the optical memory element by the glass substrate 11 having high rigidity and the generation of the chamber in the optical memory element is prevented. |
