<p>PURPOSE:To avoid select misoperation of recording paper simplifying constitution by constituting a device automatically selecting a newly set size when the recording paper, selected by a user, is different in the size from the newly set recording paper in its size. CONSTITUTION:Providing a paper feed cassette 1, containing recording paper of predetermined size, being able to be mounted to and removed from a paper feed part 3 in a side of a device main unit 2, a retaining plate 1a is protrusively provided in a mounting side end face part of the paper feed cassette 1, while a size detecting sensor 3a is provided in the paper feed part 3 in the side of the device main unit 2. And in case of setting recording paper of new size to the paper feed part 3 for replacement of recording paper, when the recording paper, selected for image forming, is different in the size from the newly set recording paper in its size, the recording paper of newly set size is selected. Accordingly, by the simplified constitution setting a proper size corresponding to the replacement action, the recording paper enables its select misoperation to be avoided.</p> |
