PURPOSE:To prevent overload current easily from flowing, by setting the critical current of superconducting substance series-connected to the power feed terminal of an apparatus, to be greater than the maximum value of current flowing at the time of the normal working of said equipment. CONSTITUTION:On the insulating substrate 1 of glass, silicon, or the like, the sheet 2 of superconducting substance is laminated, and electrodes 3, 4 connected to lead wires 5, 6 are bonded on the sheet 2. To an apparatus main-unit, working current is fed via the lead wires 5, 6, the electrodes 3, 4, and the superconducting substance 2. The critical current of the superconducting substance 2 is kept greater than the maximum current at the time of the normal working of the apparatus main-unit. When the apparatus main-unit is overloaded and current greater than the critical current of the superconducting substance 2 flows, then the resistance of the superconducting substance is turned into high resistance in the state of normal conduction, from zero, and overload current is suppressed. As a result, by a miniature device, the over-load current is easily prevented from being generated. |
