摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent an error from propagating to the picture element of communication due to smoothing by prohibiting the action of the smoothing concerning picture data to show that the error exists. CONSTITUTION:Receiving data and an error flag from an error correcting circuit 12 are supplied to a frame dissolving circuit 13 and the output signal and the error flag are supplied to a decoding circuit 14. The restoring data and the error flag from the decoding circuit 14 are supplied to a block dissolving circuit 15 and the output signal and the error flag are supplied to an error flag are supplied to an interpolating circuit 16. The picture element data and the error flag from the interpolating circuit 16 are supplied to a smoothing circuit 17, and after the smoothing processing is completed, they are outputted through an error correcting circuit 18. Concerning the picture data judged by the error flag that the error exists, the processing of the smoothing at the smoothing circuit 17 is prohibited.
