The hold is fixed to a wall at points round its periphery. It is fixed by a bolt (1) and inner and outer washers (2,4). The inner washer (4) is slightly curved and is retracted during the introduction of the hold. The bolt is positioned in a notch (7) in the side of the hold (6) and the back surface of the hold has a hollow, allowing the back washer to be retracted. A stop (5), on the inner surface of the hold, limits the rotation of the back washer. An elastic sleeve (3) round the bolt expands when it is tightened.
