<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the noise due to collision by forming a control ring in the shape of a cam whose profile is changing from a high surface part to a low surface part according to the direction of rotation and having a stepped part, and by carrying out the release of drive at the time after the engagement of a claw with the stepped part has been disengaged by the drive of a claw member, in the position where the claw member is to be abutted on the high surface part. CONSTITUTION:A control ring 17, whose outer circumferential surface consists of a high surface part 17a, a transition part 17b, and a low surface part 17c, is formed in the shape of a cam in which a stepped part 17d is formed by a high surface part 17a and a low surface part 17c. A claw member 18 is driven or released by a solenoid 20 so as to be engaged or disengaged with the stepped part 17d, thereby a spring clutch mechanism is actuated. When the solenoid 20 is magnetized to attract the claw member 18, the claw part 18b is lifted up slightly higher than the stepped height of the stepped part 17d. And the control ring is turned, and the solenoid 20 is demagnet ized in the timing in which the claw part 18b is positioned in the high surface part 17a. Thus, the noise due to the collision between the control ring 17 and the claw part 18b can be reduced, and further even at the time of engagement with the stepped part 17d, the noise can be eliminated.</p> |
