<p>PURPOSE: To obtain compressibility, elasticity and toughness by constituting the device of a gel formed by curing curable liquid polyorganosiloxane compsn. obtd. by mixing specific polydimethylsiloxane, benzene-soluble copolymer, organosiloxane, polyorganosiloxane and platinum catalyst. CONSTITUTION: 100 pts.wt. polydimethylsiloxane blocked at its terminal by one piece of liquid triorganosilixane, 5 to 2 parts benzene-soluble copolymer expressed by formula I, the organosiloxane expressed by formula II, the polyorganosiloxane contg. at least three pieces of silicone bonded hydrogen atoms per 1 molecule of the amt. sufficient for supplying 5 to 15mol% silicone bonded hydrogen atoms in the compsn. and the platinum catalyst are mixed. The total number of the silicone bonded hydrogen atoms is made 1.90 to 2.80 times the number of the vinyl radicals in the compsn. by the curable liquid polyorganosiloxane compsn. consisting of the product obtd. at this time. As a result, the easily deformable, elastic and tough elastic gel is obtd.</p> |
