摘要 PURPOSE:To attain position adjustment easily with high accuracy by performing the adjustment of five axes setting a solid-state scanning element in the position and attitude to have the highest sensitivity to the optical axis of an original reading lens by one positioning adjusting pattern at the same time. CONSTITUTION:The adjustment in the X direction is attained by reading center bit (n1+n2/2) of a black zone pattern 8 symmetrical right and left. The adjustment in the Y direction and the rotation by theta are attained by using two black stripe patterns 9 arranged symmetrically on the X axis in terms of the Y axis. A pattern 10' is used for the adjustment of the Z axis and the rotation by phi. P1, P2 are pitch widths of black and white stripes and the pitch width of the white stripes is taken as 7/8P2 at a prescribed interval. The pattern 10' is formed by arranging 8 groups of the white/black stripes. Thus, the pattern 13 is obtained. A reflected light from the pattern 13 is applied with photo-electric conversion onto the solid-state scanning element 5 via a photo diode array 6. A detecting circuit 100 detects an output voltage at each bit, the algoritym positioning five axes is stored in a memory 101, and the position and attitude of the element 5 are adjusted by operating the output voltage of each bit when the element 5 is moved in the five axes.
