To simplify the insertion of test vessels provided with steel balls into a measuring device in analytical equipment, a holding and sealing strip (10) is provided with one or more test vessels (11) attached to it, the vessels (11) already being provided with steel balls (12). The strip (10) is detachably connected to the test vessels (11) and covers the charging orifices of the vessels (11) completely, so that the steel balls (12) cannot get lost before the strip (10) is removed. The test vessels attached to the holding and sealing strip (10) can be inserted into a measuring device in analytical equipment together and in one operation. The strip (10) is thereupon removed and the test vessels (11) can then be filled in the conventional way. <IMAGE>
