Known air-conditioning devices require a large installation space because of the arrangement of the blower and various distribution flaps. By means of the invention, it is proposed to construct the heating element of the air-conditioning device as an annular heating element which is produced without solder. The evaporator can be connected axially in front of the radial running wheel so that the new air-conditioning device can be of very space-saving design. Therefore, without an additional requirement of space, the driver's side and front seat passenger's side can each have a device assigned to them. The new air-conditioning device is used for individual air-conditioning in passenger cars. <IMAGE>
