PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of dewing on a bottom plate subject to a cold temperature and avoid the fall of waterdrops into an indoor floor surface by providing a folding section where one side member of a drain pan is fitted into one side plate on the bottom plate of an air conditioner, and installing a seal member which is deformed under compression between the other side member of the drain pan and a fixing plate for fixing the bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:On a bottom plate 9 of the main body 1 of an air conditioner is provided a peripheral side plate 17, which raises this peripheral side edge. At the same time, is installed on one side plate 18 a folding section 20, into which one side member 19 of a drain pan 8. To the other side member 21 of the drain pan 8 is installed a seal member 24, which strides over the upper edge of the other side plate 22 on the bottom plate 9. It is contrived that the seal member 24 is brought into compression status by a fixing plate 2 coupled with the other side member 21 of this drain pan 8. Therefore, the air penetrates into a space between the bottom plate 9 and the drain pan 8 from a gap produced between the other side plate 22 on the bottom plate 9 and the other side section 21 on the drain pan 8, thereby preventing the bottom plate 9 from bedewing. |
