BACKLASH PLANETARY TRANSMISSION

In an anti-backlash planetary transmission having a sun wheel (9), planet wheels (6) supported in a rotary carrier (7), and a transmission housing, which fixes the annular wheel (5), and holds the sun wheel (9) and the rotary carrier (7) such that they can rotate, it is intended that the gearwheels which engage in one another with a constant change in profile should be capable of adjustment in a simple manner. To this end, the transmission housing is split in the axial direction into a centre part (1) and two end parts (2, 3), which in each case are flanged thereto, the end parts (2, 3) being axially adjustable with respect to the centre part (1). The centre part (1) harbours the annular wheel (5) while the sun wheel (9) is supported in one of the end parts (2, 3) and the rotary carrier (7) is supported in the other end part (2, 3). The adjustment capability can be achieved by means of adjusting discs (11, 12) between the housing parts (1 and 2, 3).
